4 April (Task 2) Chap 16 Data Handling: Histograms - How does it look like? [5 min]
Here are 2 examples of HISTOGRAMS
Describe the Histogram - How does it look like? Write down, in Comments, at least 3 things things you observe from the histogram. {You may make reference to the notes took down when we described each type of graphs last week}
1. There are no spaces between the bars 2. It has bars 3. It has a graph title 4.There are horizontal axis and vertical axis 5.There are arrows at the end of each axis line 6.THey don't necessarily need to start from 0 7.There are equal intervals 8.There are names for the axis 9.There are square grids

ReplyDeleteHistograms do not have spaces
ReplyDeleteHistograms describe frequencies
Histograms involve a time frame
The bars touch other all the time.
ReplyDeleteThe graph has x and y axis
On the axis there are titles
1. There are no spaces between the bars
ReplyDelete2. They are normally used to chart quantities
3. The bars areof the same colour
It is like a bar chart, but the horizontal axis has numbers and the bars have no gap.
ReplyDeleteThere are no spaces in between the graphs, there are x and y axis, and the bars are the same colour.
ReplyDelete1) There are no spaces in between the bars
ReplyDelete2)The bars are used to represent Data
3)There are two axis
1: The bars are not spaced out.
ReplyDelete2: They have a title
3: There are x and y axis
The bars do not have spaces between them.
ReplyDeleteThe graph has a vertical and horizontal axis.
They involve a time frame.
There are no spaces between the bars.
ReplyDeleteThere is x and y axis
There is a title for the graph
There are no gaps between each bar.
ReplyDeleteBoth the x and y axis is labeled with numbers.
The graph has a title
The vertical of the axis shows the frequency of occurrence.
ReplyDeleteThe horizontal axis shows the cell values.
Have no space in-between the bar.
1. There aren no gaps in between the bars.
ReplyDelete2. There is a x and y axis.
3. There is a title
1. There are no spaces between the bars
ReplyDelete2. It has bars
3. It has a graph title
4.There are horizontal axis and vertical axis
5.There are arrows at the end of each axis line
6.THey don't necessarily need to start from 0
7.There are equal intervals
8.There are names for the axis
9.There are square grids
Histograms are like bar graphs, but only feature vertical bars.
ReplyDeleteThere are labels and titles.
There are no spaces between each bar.
All the bars are stuck together.
ReplyDeleteIt is very similar to a bar graph.
It has x and y axes, just like most of the other graphs.
It looks like a bar chart however there are no gaps in between the bars, there are both x and y axis and they are used to represent data
ReplyDelete1. The bar are side by side, touching each other.
ReplyDelete2. There are both the horizontal and vertical axis, x and y.
3. For each axis, there is a title.

ReplyDeleteIts is almost the same as a bar chart accept that there are no gaps between the bars.
ReplyDeleteThere is no gap between the bars
ReplyDeleteBoth the horizontal and vertical (x and y) axes are numbers.
Vertical axis is always the frequency of occurrence.
Histogram have no gaps between the bars.
ReplyDeleteIt has a graph title.
It has both the x and the y axis.
There is no gap between bars
ReplyDeleteBoth axis have numbers
It has a x and y axis, which are labelled and it's bars are joint together. It has a graph title as well.
ReplyDeletehistograms can be manipulated to show different pictures
ReplyDeleteThere is no gaps between bars
Both axis have numbers
@Siddharth
ReplyDeleteHistograms have to stick to the vertical bars.
The 2 other observations are correct :)
@Max
ReplyDelete"Vertical axis is always the frequency of occurrence" ~ Good observation :)
